Will Eisner, 1917-2005
We at the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund are saddened to learn of the loss of Will Eisner. A pioneer of this field, Eisner was a generous force that provided the industry with strength, insight, wisdom, and vision. He always staunchly supported the Fund’s work, and will be deeply missed. We extend our deepest condolences to his wife, Ann and son, John.
Condolence cards may be sent to: Will Eisner Studios, 8333 W. McNab Road, Tamarac, FL 33321.
In his obituary, Eisner's biographer Bob Andelman suggested in lieu of flowers that donations be made either to the American Cancer Society, the Cartoon Research Library at Ohio State, or to CBLDF
