Baltimore Comicon: Top Pros, Cool Contests, and Great Comics

Join Jeff Smith, Mark Waid, Matt Wagner, Judd Winick, Brad Meltzer, Rick Veitch and more of your favorite creators in supporting the CBLDF at this weekend's Baltimore Comicon. Beginning on Saturday October 26 and running through Sunday October 27, Baltimore Comicon is a star-studded celebration of the comic book artform.

The CBLDF is pulling out all the stops to raise awareness and funds for the legal defense of comic book retailers and artists at the show. Come out and support the Fund in Baltimore at these cool events:

12:30 – 1:30 – Jeff Smith, author of the award winning series Bone supports the CBLDF with the debut of his new graphic novel Bone: Treasure Hunters!

2 - 3:30 – Matt Wagner, Judd Winick, & Brad Meltzer The team behind some of the most stunning Green Arrow and Green Lantern work in recent memory will sign your books to support the Fund.

4 - 5 – Mark Waid The award winning writer of Fantastic Four, Kingdom Come, and more signs books to benefit the Fund's First Amendment fights!

Bone Volume 8: Treasure Hunters

The penultimate volume in the Bone saga premieres at Baltimore Comicon and the only place to get it is from the CBLDF! In a strange roof-top kitchen, high above the crowded streets of ancient Atheia, the Bone cousins try to save the city from the clutches of a tyrant. They learn that whoever controls Atheia's fabled treasures will win the loyalty of the soldiers, but time is running out -- The Hooded One is drawing near, leading a legion of Rat Creatures bent on the destruction of the city and everyone in it!
