Wizard World Auction Goes Live!

Wizard Chicago has been fast and furious for the CBLDF. The booth is taking in brisk donations and pros have come out with more and more generous contributions for tonight’s benefit auction. Sponsored by Wizard, the auction will be hosted by Kevin Smith, Joe Quesada, Gareb Shamus, and Dan DiDio, plus a special appearance by Jim Lee.

Topping the highlights of show donations are an original page of art by Jim Lee, the first copy in circulation of the retailer incentive Batman and Robin the Boy Wonder #1 signed by Frank Miller and Jim Lee, and two very cool offers from Brian Bendis – the opportunity to be drawn into New Avengers, and the opportunity to show up as a body in Powers. The items and many more will be available at the auction. Sealed bids can be sent to CBLDF Director Charles Brownstein by 9:00 PM Eastern Time. Send bids to cbldf1@gmail.com. All bids must include the item title, bidder’s name, phone number, and a valid credit card number with expiration date. If sealed bidders win, they will be notified by phone before they are charged. All sealed bids will be deleted following the auction.
