A Frank Miller Treasure Trove At WonderCon!

Frank Miller fans rejoice! This weekend the CBLDF has got the goods to celebrate his return to the Bay Area at WonderCon. In addition to the incredible Sunday night screening of Sin City, the Fund will be hosting a signing on Friday from 4:30 to 5:30 at its table (Booth 308). Dark Horse will also host a CBLDF benefit signing on Saturday from 3:00 to 4:00 (Booth 603). Then on Sunday at 12:30, Miller gives a spotlight interview to CBLDF Executive Director Charles Brownstein, chronicling his life in comics, and teasing about his exciting new projects (Room 2014).

If that isn’t enough, the Fund is also bringing an incredible collection of signed Miller books and comics. For the first time, we’re releasing signed copies of original Daredevil comics, donated from Miller’s personal archive. Every issue of Frank’s run is represented, but supplies are short, so act quickly. When they’re gone, they’re gone forever. Also on hand will be signed copies of each Sin City graphic novel, rare editions of Dark Knight, Elektra Lives Again, and The Big Fat Kill. Plus, the first 100 people to sign up or renew their CBLDF membership at the show will receive a copy of All Star Batman & Robin #1 – Special Edition, signed by Miller & Jim Lee.

“We’re delighted to be able to offer our supporters such an incredible range of premiums,” says CBLDF Executive Director Charles Brownstein. “This is a crucial year for the Fund. It marks our 20th Anniversary and in that time the challenges we face haven’t abated. Right now we’re gearing up for trial to defend Georgia retailer Gordon Lee, and so the money we raise at WonderCon and the other Spring shows will be instrumental in maintaining our winning defense of that case. We’re grateful for the generous support of Frank Miller, Dark Horse and Comic-Con International in helping us get this year off to a solid start. With their help and the generosity of our supporters, we hope to walk away from this show well armed for the critical battle ahead.”
